Big Bang confirms Los Angeles and New York City as stops for ‘Alive Tour 2012′



After revealing the list of tour locations in Asia, Big Bang has now confirmed the first stops in North America for their worldwide tour, ‘Alive Tour 2012‘.

Fans in Los Angeles, California and New York, New York can start saving their money as the two locations have now been added to the list of 25 cities and 16 countries around the globe that Big Bang will be travelling to.

Performances from 2NE1′s MTV live concert in New York


On December 12th, 2NE1 rocked Times Square with a mini-concert at MTV’s recording studio. The group was invited to New York City to perform a celebratory live honoring their achievement as ‘2011 Best New Band in the World‘.

The girls had the house jumping with their performances of “Fire“, “Can’t Nobody“, “Lonely“, and “I Am The Best“. Thanks to the unceasing fan chants and loud screams, the VJs looked blown away by 2NE1′s international star power.

2NE1 performs for 2,000 fans at New York’s Times Square


2NE1 has stolen the hearts of 2,000 American fans with their live performance at Times Square in New York. The girls were recently deemed as the ‘2011 Best New Band in the World‘, and so to celebrate, they held a concert at the MTV studio downtown.

Broadcast and streamed to fans worldwide, 2NE1 was ecstatically welcomed by thousands of New York fans.

Kicking off with “Fire“, the girls continued with “Can’t Nobody” and “Lonely” before landing at “I Am the Best“.

After the live stages, the girls were formally crowned as the best new band in the world by MTV Iggy.

2NE1 stated, “We’re just so glad that people recognize us and our name. Even if we speak different languages, we can still play and have fun together.” 

Designer Jeremy Scott lent the girls his 2012 S/S collection for the concert, and even visited them on set to show his support. 2NE1 will be returning to Korea on December 14th.

Find Out What 2NE1 Has Been Up to in NYC


 2NE1 flew to New York City on December 9 for their performance at the MTV Iggy Awards. They won the “Best New Band in the World” award last month, earning a chance to perform live at New York City’s Times Square on December 12 (EST). Prior to the concert, 2NE1 had some down time and Dara, being the official publicist of 2NE1, shared some silly tourist photos on her me2day account. Here are some of the photos coming straight from NYC!

“At the Metropolitan Museum~!!!^_^ We saw a lot of new stuff and learned many new things! We’re having lots of fun~!!!”

2NE1 to Perform At the MTV Studio In New York This Week


2NE1 will finally be performing before a worldwide audience at the MTV Studio in Times Square at New York on December 12.

The four ladies will be performing their hit tracks before a live broadcast all over the world. This performance was thanks to their supportive fanbase voting them as the "2011 Best New Band In the World" on MTV IGGY's six-week poll.

Over four million people from 168 different countries participated in the poll, and 2NE1 proudly stood against bands like Ghostpoet, Gyptian, Skrillex, and Yuna, making this accomplishment quite the feat for both the ladies and their fans.

2NE1 recently took off to New York for their performance and have been keeping fans updated through their me2day.

For those in New York, try to catch it on the 12th if you can, or join the rest of us in watching it live through TV.
