Singer Tim receiving love in Indonesia for Korean-Indonesian drama ‘Saranghae, I Love You’


The Korean-Indonesian joint drama, ‘Saranghae, I Love You‘ starring Tim, is receiving lots of love in Indonesia.

Tim’s acting debut and the first joint project drama between Korea and Indonesia, ‘Saranghae, I Love You’, has been airing since last month all throughout Indonesia via its biggest public channel ‘Indosiar‘, with the first week’s viewers rating recording at 7.5%.

Since 10% is regarded to be the best in terms of viewer ratings in the country as it has many private broadcasting channels, ‘Saranghae, I Love You’ had recorded a fairly high rating, signifying the interest it is receiving.

‘Saranghae, I Love You’ tells the love story of two people each with different backgrounds in Korea and Indonesia, and has been gaining special coverage from the Indonesian media for it features a new concept that has never been seen in past Indonesian dramas.

After the drama’s airing, the fame of the drama’s OST, an Indonesian remake of Tim’s “I Love You“, as well as Tim’s recognition in Indonesia have been on the rise.

Tim Unveils MV Teaser for “A Long Day”


A year after his fifth album, “New Beginnings,” Tim is returning with a new mini-album titled, “A Long Day.”

The short teaser stars actress Lee Yoon Ji (“Heading to the Ground”) in a long close-up shot of her face as she cries and mouths the lyrics to the song. This creates a strangely captivating effect that is enhanced by the simple piano melody and quietly sad tone of the song.


The production team for the MV praised Lee Yoon Ji for her acting prowess, after she brought herself to tears in mere seconds for the filming.

The mini-album was help produced by other famous musicians such as Yiruma, Hwang Seong Jae, Kim Jin Hwan, and Song Yang Ha, and promises to deliver a higher level of perfection, completed by Tim’s mature and honest vocal color.

“A Long Day” was made available online on November 16 and will be available for sale in stores on November 17. Tim will also be holding his first solo concert in six years to celebrate the release of his new mini-album on November 20.

Tim to go on with his comeback as planned despite being involved in a car accident

Ballad crooner Tim assured worried fans that he’s alright after a 3-car accident that happened two days ago.

On November 15th, his agency told Star News, “Tim was returning from his musical performance on the 13th when he got into a 3-car accident on the Gyeongbu High Way on his way to Seoul… At the time, Tim had been in the car that his manager was driving. The car behind hit their car, and as a result, their car crashed into the car in front of them.” 

They continued, “After resolving the accident, Tim and his manager headed to a hospital in Seoul for a check up on the 14th… Tim did not suffer from any big injuries so he will be able to go on with his promotions, however his manager is suffering from head and back pains, and will have to stay at the hospital for 2 weeks.”

After losing 5kg (11 lbs) in preparation for his return to the music industry, Tim will be making his comeback with the release of his new album ‘…The Day is Long’ on November 17th. He will also be holding a concert on the 20th for the first time in 6 years.
