Lee Jun Ki to hold Japanese fan meeting tour ‘JG with you… in Japan’


Lee Jun Ki has left for Japan to attend his fan meeting tour.

He began his Japanese fan meeting on December 4th in Nagoya. His next stop will be in Osaka on the 5th, and conclude the fan meeting tour on the 10th in Yokohama. The event is titled ‘JG with you… in Japan‘ and he is holding it as a special celebration with his fans for all the love he received in 2012. He has also prepared new songs and choreography specifically for this fan meeting tour.


A representative from Lee Jun Ki’s agency IMX stated, “He directed the various programs of his fan meeting so he could show his appreciation for being so loved in 2012. He is trying his best to make an unforgettable memory with fans that will be cherished.” To do his best for the fans, Lee Jun Ki is reported to have practiced more than 10 hours per day on his new choreography.

Kim Jaejoong Holds Fan Meeting With 1,500 Japanese Fans


Kim JaeJoong held a fan meeting with his Japanese fans on July 22 in which some 1,500 Kim JaeJoong fans from Japan came to Korea to spend time with their favorite singer/actor.

The fans were first brought to the set of Kim JaeJoong’s MBC drama Time Slip Dr. Jin, where the fans got a first-hand look at the set.

The fans also showed their appreciation for the hardworking staff by pooling together their money to purchase the staff members snacks and beverages.

The fans later gathered that night at a theater in Yonsei University for an official fan meeting with Kim JaeJoong.

He opened the event by singing his track Even When Living, Living Like a Dream from the drama’s OST. An extensive introduction on Kim JaeJoong’s drama character, Kim Kyung Tak, was presented before Kim JaeJoong spoke about his favorite and most difficult scenes as well as a look at some of his big scenes and the special hidden stories behind them.

Three lucky fans were also chosen to try on the same costume that Kim JaeJoong wears for the drama and take pictures with the singer/actor, while a few additional lucky fans received autographed scripts and the bracelet he wore for the drama.

Following the conclusion of the fan meeting, Kim JaeJoong expressed his gratitude to his fans saying, “I’m thankful the fans came despite the hot weather. I’m happy to have closed today on a touching note. I will do my best until my very last scene.”

JYJ’s Jaejoong to hold solo Taiwanese fan meeting in May


JYJ‘s Jaejoong will be holding a solo fan meeting on May 23rd in Taiwan and it’s all due to the explosive popularity he is receiving with his last SBS drama, ‘Protect the Boss‘.

On April 30th, according to his label company, C-Jes Entertainment, “After his fan meeting in Shanghai in December, he will be holding a solo fan meeting in Taipei, Taiwan at the ATT hall.  This fan meeting is a way to repay the high popularity he received through his past drama, ‘Protect the Boss’“.

Actor/Idol, Jaejoong has received much love as his character in ‘Protect the Boss’, charmed many with his cool and mysterious personality.  According to a Taiwanese representative, the drama has become so popular in Taiwan, that officials are in discussion to make a sequel.  Jaejoong’s popularity is extremely high as his online fan members total over 100,000.

In this upcoming fan meeting, Jaejoong plans to sing the OST, “I will protect you“, which he personally wrote.  He will also have a casual talk with fans.

Got Song? Hallyu actor to make six stops throughout Asia for fan meets


Hallyu actor Song Joong-ki is set to make six stops throughout Asia, starting with Thailand on Saturday. The event was orchestrated by the actor as a thank you present for his fans overseas.

“The Song Joong-Ki Asia Fan Meeting Tour” has a subtitle of “Thrill & Love,” and the actor is currently mulling over various approaches for his time on the stage. He says that he hopes to communicate with and captivate his fans while on tour.

The first stage of the tour will take place at the Paragon Hall in Thailand.

The 26-year-old is a rising actor who was recently picked to be the face of Seoul Milk due to his “fresh and youthful image.” Song also landed an exclusive deal to represent Sprite.

He made his debut in 2008 in the movie “Ssang-hwa-jeom” (“A Frozen Flower”) and rose to fame last year playing the role of the young King Sejong in the SBS drama “Deep Rooted Tree.” Song recently wrapped up filming the movie “Teenage Werewolf.”

Real 2PM goes behind the scenes of ’2PM Hottest Party’ fan meeting


On April 1st, the boys of 2PM held their third ‘2PM Hottest Party‘ fan meeting at Kyunghee University in front of more than 4,000 fans.

JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong to hold an independent fan meeting in Turkey



JYJ member Kim Jaejoong (26) will be holding an independent fan meeting in Turkey on February 5th (local time).

On February 3rd, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism revealed that Jaejoong would be holding his fan meeting at Ankara University in Turkey.

This fan meet will be a good way to help spread Hallyu awareness and enhance cultural exchanges between the two countries. Tickets for the fan meeting were sold as a first come, first served basis and tickets for all 600 seats sold out on the Korean Embassy in Ankara website within half an hour.

“We could see the effect of Hallyu in Turkey, as more than 2,000 people applied to attend the fan meeting within a few hours,” the Embassy said. “We received incessant phone calls from people who did not get selected.”

Leading Turkish newspaper Milliyet also reported about the fan meeting on February 1st, and introduced not only Jaejoong but JYJ as a whole in much detail.

A Korean drama aired in Turkey for the very first time in 2005, and there has been significant interest in K-pop and Korean culture ever since.

Turkey also is home to a fan club entitled ‘Korea Fans’, which currently has over 40,000 active members.

1,400 Japanese fans in attendance for Jang Geun Suk’s recent fan meet


Jang Geun Suk proved that he was still a leading figure of Hallyu.

The actor/singer recently held a special fan meeting, ‘2012 Lotte Duty-Free Shops Jang Geun Suk In Star Avenue‘ at the Dom Art Hall in Children’s Grand Park on January 28th. An impressive 1,400 Japanese fans showed up for the event, proving the star’s international fame.

The meet and greet was nothing short of a concert. Jang Geun Suk sang “Hello Hello“, the soundtrack to his drama, ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night‘, as well as his Japanese debut single “Oh My Darling“, and his yet to be released upcoming single, which earned the warm applause of the audience.

He also planned a few special events for the fans, and gifted one of the winners with a T-shirt and jacket he personally wore during one of his advertisement shoots. The star also selected two members of the audience to come on stage and take pictures with him, and revealed photos of himself which were taken during his day to day activities & his World Tour.

This venue in particular held fan meet and greets in rapid succession, as JYJ held one at the location on the 14th, followed by Kim Hyun Joong who held a meet and greet on the 21st. Boy group Big Bang also held one at the same location right after Jang Geun Suk, which caused quite the stir amongst their fans.

ZE:A greets their Filipino fans!


Warner Music Philippines recently revealed a video of ZE:A greeting their Filipino fans and telling them about their upcoming visit in the Philippines this January 12 – 14, 2012. The boys also sang the entire chorus of their song, “Watch Out!” much to the amusement and delight of their fans. There’s also another video of ZE:A asking their Filipino fans to set their song, “Watch Out!” as their ringback tone and the members are being their quirky adorable self that got fans repeating the videos again and again and again. I know I did!
