SM Entertainment hints at 5-member TVXQ reunion?

Fans have noticed an interesting change on SM Entertainment Japan‘s official website. The profiles of the former members of TVXQ, Junsu, Yoochun, and Jaejoong, are now on the group’s section of the site.

After a lawsuit with SM Entertainment, TVXQ was left with two members, Yunho and Changmin. While Yunho and Changmin continued to promote as TVXQ, the other three members have been active under the name JYJ.

As expected, fans are eager to find out what the alleged site update means as there is no statement from SM Entertainment or the TVXQ and JYJ members as of now.

Considering there have been rumors of a reunion before, what do you think about this recent development? Is the site update a hint of TVXQ’s return as a 5-member group or some sort of mistake?

TVXQ’s Changmin developed a victim mentality after debuting in the industry

TVXQ‘s Changmin shared that he developed a ‘victim mentality’ after working in the entertainment industry.

On the May 10th episode of MBC‘s ‘Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Concert‘, Changmin opened up about his introverted personality.

In a group, there are members that are very outgoing and well-spoken, while other members may not say much and be very reserved,” Changmin began to say.

Relatively, I don’t speak much so I may come across as being less than enthusiastic,” he continued. “I also thought that people paid less attention to me because I was a man of such few words, and I developed a victim mentality.”

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk then displayed his wit by responding, “Yunho just needs to talk less,” and Changmin added, “I hope that quiet people like me can continue to live bright and cheerful lives without being stressed out.”

Changmin’s fellow TVXQ member Yunho then determinedly remarked, “I will make sure to speak less,” causing everyone to explode into laughs.

DBSK's Changmin Is Taller Than Japanese Idols

A recent picture of DBSK’s Changmin with Japanese idols has gathered much attention. This picture was posted on an online community website on January 1 and shows the difference in the heights between Changmin and the Japanese idol group Arashi.

The picture was taken at the Japanese New Year’s Eve Song Festival, “Kōhaku (Red and White Song Battle),”which was produced by the Japanese public broadcasting organization NHK.

The most obvious difference is between Changmin and Arashi’s member Ninomiya Kazunari. According to the profile information of both idols, the difference between the two men is supposedly 17cm (Changmin’s height is 185cm, while the Ninomiya’s height is 168cm.)

Netizens who had seen this interesting photo left comments like, “Whenever our (Korean) idols go to Japan, they turn into giants,” “Superior Changmin” and “I feel content while looking at this photo."

This was the first time for DBSK to perform at this show after the restructuring of the group and with 49.7% on the popularity vote, the boys managed to get the number 1 position.
