Behind-the-scene cuts of the “Milky Couple”, 2PM‘s Wooyoung and singer IU, kiss scene have been revealed.

The photos above were posted on an online community board with the title ‘Wooyoung and IU kiss scene NG cuts’ and have been gaining a lot of attention from netizens. The photos revealed were behind-the-scene cuts from KBS’s ‘Dream High 1‘ that aired back in 2011.

During the beginning of the drama, IU had a crush on Wooyoung and later on their love line in the series gained a lot of momentum from fans. In the photos the ‘Milky Couple’ (Woo from Wooyoung and U from IU – Woo-U stands for milk in Korean) seem to be showing a lot of affection as they are lovingly looking at each other. IU seems to be trying hard not to laugh by closing her lips hard as Wooyoung is slowly approaching her. Netizens found the cuts very cute as both seem to be extremely shy!

After viewing these photos, netizens commented, “Those two are just too cute“, “They are so cute together! Milky couple is the best!“, “The photos make my heart pound, I’m the one feeling nervous!“.

After School‘s Kahi has revealed her feelings on her drama, KBS’s ‘Dream High 2‘, finally coming to an end.

On the early morning of March 21st, she wrote on her Twitter, “Dream High 2… It’s over. My first drama, full of things I’ll miss! Directors, staff, and co-stars, you all suffered so much. I was truly happy. We got closer, but it was still awkward. Now, I can finally smile. You all worked hard, everyone~ ‘Dream High 2′, I love you!”

‘Dream High 2′ was Kahi’s debut drama, where she played the role of dance instructor and former girl group member ‘Hyun Ji Soo’. The drama wrapped up with its final episode on March 20th.

Netizens commented, “You did well. I’ll be looking forward to your next drama and album,” “Good job, Kahi unni,” and “Maybe it’s the awkwardness that looks natural? Everyone looks great.”

miss A has revealed that they will be making a cameo appearance in KBS‘s ‘Dream High 2‘!

The girls will be starring as themselves, a popular idol group, that visits Girin Arts High School to support the super idol’s stage. Suzy especially has been busy with promotions for her new movie on top of miss A’s activities, so her act of loyalty to the drama’s staff and stars is one that fans will surely be looking forward to.

There are only two episodes left to the hit series, so be sure to stay tuned for miss A’s appearance on March 19th!

A photo of actor Kim Soo Hyun hugging the “nation’s younger sisters” IU and Suzy, was posted on February 27th on an online community board, along with the caption “Kim Soo Hyun, who has the whole world in his arms.”

The photo seems to be a screen capture from a moment during the Dream High concert. After the event had ended and the cameras were wrapping up, Kim Soo Hyun was snapped hugging both IU and Suzy at the same time. The sight of Kim Soo Hyun hugging two of the “nation’s younger sisters” simultaneously has provoked the jealousy of male fans everywhere.

Netizens who viewed the photo left varied comments, such as “I’m not jealous of Kim Soo Hyun; I’m jealous of Suzy and IU,” and “He could have just picked one… greedy Kim Soo Hyun.”

miss A's Suzy, is garnering attention for being kissed by Taecyeon and Kim Soo Hyun at the same time.

A picture was recently uploaded on an online community board with the title: “Kim Soo Hyun and Ok Taecyeon Kissing Suzy.” The picture was taken from “Dream High’s” poster shoot during season 1.

The storyline had Go Hye Mi (Suzy) in a love triangle with Song Sam Dong (Kim Soo Hyun) and Jin Gook (Taecyeon). The poster portrayed the love triangle amongst the three main characters by having the two male leads kiss Suzy’s cheek at the same time.

Netizens and fans who saw the picture responded with diverse reactions: “Being kissed by Taecyeon and Kim Soo Hyun at the same time? I am very jealous,” “Suzy looks surprised yet happy,” and “I wish I can trade bodies with Suzy.”

It looks like ’Pilsook‘ is back for a brief moment in the sequel to popular TV series, ‘Dream High‘!

‘Hyesung‘ (Kang Sora) visits the broadcasting station to visit idol group Eden, but ends up being disappointed as the concert falls apart due to laws limiting late-night shows. While she bumbles along, Hyesung accidentally bumps into Pilsook (IU), and requests an autograph.

According to producers, the cameo really was an accidental meeting. After hearing that the ‘Dream High 2‘ staff was filming nearby, IU decided to check in and readily accepted a quick role on the spot.

Reportedly, IU plans to make another official appearance at the next opportunity.

IU’s surprise cameo will be seen in the pilot broadcast of ‘Dream High 2′ on January 30th!

JYP Entertainment‘s 9th auditions are in full swing, and they’re attracting high levels of attention from the public.

After learning that ‘Dream High 2‘s actors JB and Jr. were contestants from the 5th auditions, trainee-hopefuls felt even more encouraged to try out for the agency.

JB and Jr. auditioned for JYP back in 2009, and they tied for first place as the overall winners of the 5th auditions. These two trainees gained much spotlight for their amazing dance skills as well as their cute looks.
The JYP auditions also scouted Wooyoung after he won 1st place in the 1st JYP auditions. Wooyoung has since joined 2PM and landed a major role as ‘Jason’ in ‘Dream High 1′.

Starting on January 7th, JYP’s 9th auditions preliminaries (in cooperation with HUM and Daum TV) kicked off in Cheongju, followed by Gwangju, Daegu, and Busan. It will then move onto Gangneung and Seoul on February 4th and 5th. The agency will pick the final winner from the 30 contestants who clear through the preliminaries on February 26th.

The top 3 will be given the chance to train under JYP, and the person who receives the Dean’s Award by Seoul’s School of Art will be given a year’s tuition to attend the prestigious institution.

Still cuts in ‘Dream High 2‘ were recently released featuring Kim Soo Hyun‘s cameo!

Kim Soo Hyun will appear in the pilot episode of ‘Dream High 2′ on January 30th as Song Sam Dong, the first of various special cameos during this series.

The actor rose to popularity as he revealed his acting potential and excellent dance skills in the first ‘Dream High’. He granted fans’ wishes as they voted him as the most wanted actor from Season 1 to reappear in ‘Dream High 2′.

As Kim Soo Hyun will reprise his role as the top actor Sam Dong, Rian (acted by T-ara‘s Jiyeon) will reenact the bus farewell scene that miss A‘s Suzy had previously done.

Even with his busy schedule with MBC‘s ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun‘ where he plays the leading role, Kim Soo Hyun decided to make a cameo and stated enthusiastically after the filming, “I enjoyed completing the filming in the atmosphere that was no less friendly than the last ‘Dream High’ filming site. I’m anticipating that the drama and its feeling will be different from the first.”

miss A‘s Suzy expressed her jealousy over the kiss scene between T-ara‘s Jiyeon and actor Kim Soo Hyun.

Kim Soo Hyun made a cameo in the pilot episode of KBS‘s ‘Dream High 2‘, where he reenacted the kiss scene from ‘Dream High 1‘ with Jiyeon.

In ‘Dream High 2′, Jiyeon portrays ‘Rian‘, an idol who aspires to be an actress. Rian lands a part as ‘Hyemi‘ (originally played by Suzy in ‘Dream High 1′) in a “biography movie” about ‘Sam Dong‘ (Kim Soo Hyun). Jiyeon attempts to kiss Kim Soo Hyun, but the director yells “CUT!” due to Jiyeon’s bad acting.

It looks like Suzy watched the first episode of ‘Dream High 2′, as she wrote this tweet on January 31st: “‘Dream High 2′, be daebak! It’s really fun. However, Sam Dong, Sam Dong, [you] threw Hyemi away. Geez.”

Netizens replied with, “Suzy is jealous over the kiss scene“, “Sam Dong threw away Hyemi and filmed a kiss scene with Rian“, and “Kim Soo Hyun’s runny nose kiss scene was so funny.”

After teasing fans with two short teasers, the anticipated drama ‘Dream High 2‘ released a longer third teaser today.

The new teaser continued to show the tension between the privileged idols and the other students of Kirin Arts High School. It also showed an indepth look in to the underdogs Kang Sora and Jinwoon‘s life as they try to become singers.

In one scene Kang Sora fails an audition and begs on her knees for a second chance. As a judge, Kahi coldly tells her that her skills are sub par. She replies, “With those skills you can’t go anywhere. If they pick you anywhere else I will make you in to a singer”. Kang Sora angrily storms out and looks at a picture of the popular girl group with Jiyeon, Hyorin and Ailee. She remarks, “I am better than you guys, much better”.

Another scene depicts Jinwoon singing and playing a guitar for some change on the streets. The already popular JB steals the spotlight and their rivalry continues. Later JB tells Jinwoon, “If you have skills, why doesn’t the world know you?”. An angered Jinwoon clenches his fist and JB replies, “If you hit me I guess you’ll become famous”.

Looks like the story is unfolding, leaving more fans to count down the days till the season premiere episode on January 30th.

“Dream High” breakout star Kim Soo Hyun will make a cameo appearance in the pilot episode of “Dream High 2,” scheduled to air January 30. Currently, Kim Soo Hyun is busy filming his latest drama “The Moon that Embraces the Sun,” and many fans were skeptical as to whether he would have the time to film the cameo. However, it’s been announced that Kim Soo Hyun had already filmed the scene early on during the beginning of production stages. He will reprise his role as Song Sam Dong, a naïve country boy who goes on to become the first Korean to win a Grammy.

Producers of the upcoming show stated, “Kim Soo Hyun is very fond of the show, especially because he received so much love from the first season. When we asked him for a cameo, he agreed and completed the shoot early on.” “Dream High 2” has a long list of season 1 cast lined up to make a cameo appearance.

“Dream High 2” stars T-ara’s Ji Yeon, SISTAR’s Hyorin, 2AM’s Jin Woon, Kang So Ra, and rookie actors Park Seo Joon and JB. The second season will showcase the fierce music/dance battles between the top idol stars, who are about to have nervous breakdowns, and the school's troubled students.

SISTAR‘s Hyorin and T-ara‘s Jiyeon who have been cast in the new ‘Dream High 2‘ drama expressed the need for special laws protecting minors in the entertainment industry.

At the ‘Dream High 2‘ press conference that was held at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul on January 17th, Jiyeon remarked, “In the drama, there are special laws protecting minors in the entertainment industry, and I wish those laws existed in reality.”

In the drama series, there are laws that protect under-age celebrities, making it illegal for minors to work more than 30 hours at a time, and those who are not enrolled in school are forbidden from even becoming a celebrity.

Practices and TV appearances are forbidden after 10PM, and under-age minors are also required to attend 20 hours of classes on a weekly basis.

The ‘special laws’ in the drama series apply to hot fictional idol group HUSH & EDEN who need to transfer schools, and the same laws also apply to them when they are in Japan.

T-ara’s Jiyeon was born in 1993, and she is currently a high school student. She added, “I want to attend school with my friends, and want some time for myself. I like being a celebrity, but I do feel I need a break from time to time.”

SISTAR’s Hyorin agreed with her saying, “When you’re a celebrity, it’s so hard to keep a regular sleep schedule and it’s hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle. My schedule is so jam-packed that I have less time to practice singing then back when I was a trainee.”

2AM‘s Jung Jinwoon however had a different opinion stating, “If those laws were actually signed, there will be definite limitations on what we could do as artists. There are a lot of things I learned as I worked. I made my debut when I was a minor too, but I feel like if you really wanted to, you can both work and go to school at the same time.”

In the drama, Jinwoon plays the role of a devious student who dreams of becoming a rock star, while Hyorin plays the role of a lead vocalist named NaNa, and Jiyeon plays the role of an idol as well.

‘Dream High 2′ tells the story of students who dream of becoming top stars in the industry. The series stars Kang Sora, Jung Jinwoon, Park Jiyeon, JB, Hyorin, Park Seo Jun, Yoo Soyoung, Kim Jisoo, Ailee, Jr, Jung Yeon Joo, Park Jin Young, Kim Jung Tae, Kwon Hae Hyo, Choi Yeo Jin, Kahi, and more. The first episode airs January 30th.

Still cuts of JB, the leader of fictional top idol group EDEN in the ‘Dream High 2‘ drama series have been revealed, earning the interest of netizens everywhere.

The still cuts are from a scene in which JB runs into his rival, Jin Eugene (2AM‘s Jung Jinwoon). The passer-byers who caught a glimpse of JB’s charismatic gaze during the shoot reportedly could not take their eyes off of him.

JB is trying his hand at acting for the very first time through ‘Dream High 2′, and he is a talented JYP Entertainment trainee who won first place at the JYP auditions. The JYP auditions are highly competitive, and it is one in which 2PM‘s Wooyoung who played the role of ‘Jason’ in ‘Dream High‘ also claimed victory for a past audition.

JB who is starring in the drama using his real name and showcased a wide spectrum of talents including singing, dance, rap and acting. He also possess both adorable charms along with a tough, masculine charisma, tugging the hearts of fan girls everywhere.

JB remarked, “I’m so honored to be able to greet the viewers for the very first time though such a big project. I’m really nervous because it’s my first time and I know I’m lacking in so many ways, but my co-stars are a big help and I am enjoying myself on set.”

After teasing fans with two different posters, one with the main characters and the other with the full cast, KBS‘s ‘Dream High 2‘ has returned with its third and final cut.

Once again, the image features the six main characters: Kang Sora, 2AM‘s Jinwoon, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, T-ara‘s Jiyeon, and new actors JB and Park Seo Joo.

As with the first poster, four of the students were dressed in luxurious outfits, which belie a sense of privilege not found with Kang Sora and Jinwoon’s characters. In fact, Kang Sora and Jinwoon are seen in casual outfits, as if to emphasize their ‘underdog’ appeal.

The contrast between these two groups was further emphasized by the poster’s tagline, which read: ’The most problematic Kirin Arts High School students VS. The best idols“.

While the names of Kang Sora, Jinwoon, Jiyeon, and Hyorin are well known to the industry, JB and Park Seo Joo are relatively new. It’s been revealed that JB was the winner of the 5th JYP Auditions, and that he possesses great dance and vocal abilities. Park Seo Joo, meanwhile, is a rookie actor who previously made his debut in the movie, ‘Perfect Game‘.

‘Dream High 2′ will air its first episode on January 30th at 9:55 p.m.

On January 15th, KBS 2TV’s upcoming teenage drama ‘Dream High 2’ shared a new poster with all 16 of its cast members.

As reported earlier, the students of ‘Kirin Arts High School’ were revealed to be actress Kang Sora, 2AM‘s Jinwoon, T-ara‘s Jiyeon, and SISTAR‘s Hyorin. Joining them are new names JB, Park Seo Joon, Yoo So Young, Kim Ji Soo, Ailee, Jr, and Jung Yeon Joo.

Meanwhile, the teachers will be played by J.Y. Park, Kim Jung Tae, Kwon Tae Hyo, Choi Yeo Jin, and After School‘s Kahi.

The drama team has also revealed some new character profiles, such as ‘Park Soon Dong’ (Yoo So Young) and ‘Park Hong Joo’ (Kim Ji Soo). Park Soon Dong is a dorky girl who believes that she can communicate with ghosts, while ‘Park Hong Joo’ is a poet who’s perfect in every way, except for his face.

Other characters include ‘Ailee’ (Ailee), ‘Jung Wi Bong’ (Jr), and ‘Yi Seul’ (Jung Yeon Joo). Jung Wi Bong is a saxophone player who’s also a back dancer for JB, and Yi Seul’ is Chairman Lee Kang Cheol’s daughter.

Regarding the roles of the teachers, J.Y. Park has reclaimed his popular role as ‘Yang Jin Man’. His fellow ‘staff members’ include ‘Joo Jung Wan’ (Kwon Hae Hyo), vocal instructor ‘Kim Tae Yeon’ (Choi Yeo Jin), and dance teacher ‘Hyun Ji Soo’ (Kahi). Oz Entertainment’s President and Kirin Arts’ Chairman/Principal, ‘Lee Kang Cheol’ will be played by Kim Jung Tae.

‘Dream High 2′ will to air its first episode on January 30th.

‘Dream High 2‘ has just unveiled its official poster!

The main cast were divided into two groups, which many interpreted to mean that one group is more privileged than the other. The bottom group is comprised of 2AM‘s Jinwoon and actress Kang Sora, who were hinted to be characters from a rough background (see here and here for still-cuts from their introductory scenes) earlier.

Meanwhile, the other group is comprised of SISTAR‘s Hyorin, T-ara‘s Jiyeon, and two male rookies named JB (JYP Entertainment) and Park Seo Joon (KeyEast Entertainment).

The haughty looks they toss at Jinwoon and Kang Sora (who volley with scowls of their own) seem to lend credence to the theory that their characters are talented, but arrogant.

‘Dream High 2′ will undoubtedly be releasing more teasers, so stay tuned to urkpop for updates!

TOXIC, the winner of KBS’s recent audition show, “Top Band,” has made a special cameo appearance in the upcoming KBS drama “Dream High 2.”

According to KBS, the two TOXIC members, Kim Seul Ong and Kim Jung Woo, held a joint performance with 2AM’s Jinwoon at a recent recording of “Dream High 2.” TOXIC and Jinwoon gave a successful street performance in the middle of Hongdae, a young and hip college area in Seoul, receiving a standing ovation from the people passing by. The scene will also involve TOXIC’s comic acting at the end, as they get upset over Jinwoon being underage.

“We feel honored to appear in ‘Dream High 2.’ Our teamwork with Jinwoon was really good, too, so we were able to film in a fun environment,” TOXIC said in a statement.

A new still cut featuring the six leading members of KBS’s upcoming drama, ‘Dream High 2‘, has finally been unveiled!

Aside from Jung Jinwoon and Kang Sora, who are seen facing the viewer, the rest have their backs turned towards the audience to raise anticipation for what’s to come.

The ‘Kirin Arts High School’ uniforms have undergone a few changes, like the use of red and checker patterns. Fans already know that Jiyeon and Hyorin are the remaining two girls, but word on who the two boys at the side are has not been revealed.

Producers are purposely keeping their identity a secret to exclusively reveal at the drama’s production conference.

A representative stated, “Actors and idol singers won’t be the only members of the cast, but also rookie actors. They have a surprising amount of energy that we’re sure will bring the same amount of attention Kim Soo Hyun managed to garner.”

KBS’s upcoming drama, “Dream High 2,” has released a new group photo of the main six cast members today. But all of the members, except for the two lead roles, Jinwoon and Kang So Ra, are facing away, leaving many fans questioning the identity of the rest of the cast.

We already know Jinwoon, Kang So Ra, Hyorin, and Park Ji Yeon will play major roles in the drama. However, the two male casts shown in the picture standing on opposite ends are still unknown, except for the fact that they will be part of the group, “Eden,” in the drama. Their tall heights (Jinwoon is 185 cm or 6’2), unique fashion style and bleached hair indicate another star in the making, yet the production team has not released any additional information regarding their profiles.

“’Dream High 2’ will not just feature actors and pop idol stars, but also some rookie celebrities. Their explosive energy will create another new star, much like Kim Soo Hyun from the original ‘Dream High.,’” a staff official told local media.

We’ll get to find out who “Eden” is at the press conference scheduled for January 17. The first episode of “Dream High 2” will air on January 30. Can you guess who they are?
