Suzy Looks Adorable in “Gu Family Book” BTS Pics

It looks as though she still finds time to show off her beautiful and signature “aegyo,” although miss A’s Suzy plays a tough somewhat tomboyish character on “Gu Family Book,” (The act of looking cute!) On May 8 JYP Entertainment revealed behind the scene “aegyo” cuts of Suzy at the “Gu Family Book” filming set.

Now, she is merely wearing what looks like a black martial arts robe, but she still manages to look as beautiful as ever! See photo below.

Suzy plays the character “Dam Yeo Wool” in the drama, and she has a love line with the main character “Gang Chi” that is played by Lee Seung Gi. The drama broadcasts every Monday and Tuesday at 10 pm. (KST) The story revolves around “Gang Chi” who is half-man and half- beast. He is finding a way to become completely human.

Past photos of miss A‘s Suzy hanging out at a ‘noraebang‘, a karaoke room, with friends from her hometown of Gwangju surfaced recently on an online community.

In the pictures, Suzy is wearing a letterman jacket, a hooded t-shirt, and shorts, looking comfortable and as adorable as ever without a trace of makeup on. She looks like an average Korean high school student having fun with classmates.

Suzy shared a brief conversation with actor Ian Somerhalder on Twitter.

Suzy had previously confessed multiple times that her ideal type was Ian Somerhalder, and the pair had shared Twitter conversations before.

The conversation occurred when Suzy tweeted a photo of cherry pits and stalks, Iam Somerhalder replied to her and asked,

On the most recent episode of onStyle “Style Log: Weekly,” miss A‘s Suzy participated in the narration recording of the show’s “Much Wanted Life” segment. In “Much Wanted Life,” Suzy joined a musician, graffiti artist, typographer, and fashion designer for this four-week long project. Along with her role as the narrator, Suzy also will take up the position of “sensibility messenger.”

Suzy’s narration instantly garnered much attention as her lovely voice expressed the unique lively, bouncy character very well. Moreover during this project, Suzy joined Broccoli You Too‘s vocalist Yoon Duk Won in the making of the show’s theme song. Netizens commented on Suzy’s newest challenge as a narrator, “I cannot wait to hear her voice in the background,” “I am so excited for her narration in the show,” and “I wonder how the song with Broccoli You Too turned out.”

Boy group B1A4 has made a comeback with their third mini-album, ‘In the Wind‘.

The group is gaining attention not only for their upgraded sound, but also for news that member Jinyoung, composed their title track “Try to Walk”. In addition, member Baro assisted in writing the lyrics for all of his rap verses.

The mini-album features narration by Miss A‘s Suzy as well as a vocal featurings from Brown Eyed Girls‘ JeA and Shina-E. The album features British modern rock, R&B, pop and acoustic pop, in its aim to capture the hearts of fans.

Returning to the K-Pop scene is idol group miss A with their new and fierce track, “I Don’t Need A Man.” The four independent ladies have recently showed off their whimsical charms through a fashion pictorial.

miss A recently posed for “Vogue Girl” with a “dark angel” concept. Suzy, Min, Fei and Jia strutted their bodies and beauty with flashy prints, leather and fur jackets, chunky heels and smokey makeup.

After posing for the photo shoot, miss A sat down for an interview to reveal the actors who match their ideal types, their thoughts on their recent title track, gifts they want to receive for Peppero Day, and more.

miss A’s photo shoot and interview will be found in the November edition of “Vogue Girl.”

It’s been confirmed that JYJ‘s Jaejoong and miss A‘s Suzy will attend the opening of the 17th annual ‘Busan International Film Festival‘ on October 4.

C-JeS Entertainment confirmed through their official Facebook page, “As the lead actor of the movie ‘Jackal is Coming‘, JYJ’s Jaejoong will attend the 17th annual ‘Busan International Film Festival’,” increasing fans’ anticipation for his red carpet appearance.

JYP Entertainment also confirmed that Suzy will attend the film festival for her role in the movie ‘Introduction to Architecture‘. She’ll be heading back to Seoul immediately afterwards.

The 17th annual ‘Busan International Film Festival’ will be held on October 4 to the 13th and feature 304 films from 75 countries.

KBS‘s ‘Big‘ has been struggling with its dropping viewer ratings despite the famous cast and interesting story line due to tough competition with other dramas in the same time slot. However, this week, the drama was able to gain back a bit as it has experienced an increase since last week’s episode.

On June 12th, AGB Nielson Media Research released the viewer ratings for the June 11th broadcast of ‘Big’. The third episode of ‘Big’ amassed a viewer rating of 8.4%, which was a 1.0% increase from last week’s episode of 7.4%.

Many are attributing this increase to miss A‘s Suzy making her first appearance in the drama as Jang Ma Ri. Suzy plays the role of a girl who is slightly “4D”, who comes from the States to find her crush Kang Kyung Joon (played by Shin Won Ho).

In related news, MBC‘s ‘Light and Shadow‘ attained a viewer rating of 18.7% this week which was a 2.6% decrease from last week’s episode of 21.3%, while SBS‘s ‘Chaser‘ saw an increase in viewer ratings by reaching the double-digits with a 10.6%.

miss A‘s Suzy, who is already known for her singing and acting skills, showcased her drawing ability on the set of KBS drama ‘Big‘. Photos of Suzy making sketches of the characters in the poster for ‘Big’ were recently revealed.

The photos show Suzy focusing intently on the facial features of actor Gong Yoo as she drew her portrait of the actor. Fans were surprised by how well her drawing turned out. Suzy also drew the faces of Lee Min Jung and Shin Won Ho. Although she had little time to spare, each character she drew was definitely recognizable. Her smile and positive energy on set despite her busy filming schedule also impressed fans.

Suzy plays the role of ‘Jang Mari’, the former girlfriend as well as longtime “stalker” of 18-year-old high school student ‘Kang Kyung Joon’. After finally discovering that he’s a student at a Korean high school, she immediately returns to the country to meet with a 30-year-old doctor named ‘Seo Yoon Jae’, a man who claims to hold the souls of ‘Gil Daran’ and ‘Kang Kyung Joon’.

After announcing a new female celebrity would be endorsing their brand with idol group 2PM, popular water park Caribbean Bay posted photos of miss A‘s Suzy posing with 2PM on official promotional pictures through Everland Caribbean Bay’s official website.

Soon after, additional photos of Suzy from the photo shoot were released on online community sites. The netizen who posted the photos wrote, “Caribbean Bay model Suzy displayed her masterpiece of a figure.”

The waterpark was previously endorsed by Girls’ Generation members Yuri, YoonA, and Seohyun, but this year, they decided to sign all of 2PM along with Suzy.

Actress Ha Ji Won and miss A‘s Suzy were recently spotted wearing the same dress!

Ha Ji Won recently attended the movie premier of ‘Korea‘, which was held in Chiba, Japan. The actress, who has been receiving love and support through the movie ‘Korea’, stepped into the premier in a black off-the-shoulder dress, revealing her sexy and healthy body. In order to supplement her gorgeous dress, Ha Ji Won also wore a necklace that added a sense of elegance.

miss A’s Suzy wore the same dress on SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘! Unlike Ha Ji Won, Suzy gave a more innocent, cute, and feminine look to the outfit. She wore a pink colored necklace to add a sense of loveliness to the overall look.

On the April 2nd episode of MBC‘s ‘Come to Play‘, miss A‘s Suzy explained how she went to participate on an audition program and was cast under JYP Entertainment.

“I participated in the ‘Superstar K‘ audition when it was held in Gwangjoo and suddenly had the urge to use the restroom,” she said. “So I went and somehow attracted the attention of a JYP representative. I ended up having my audition next to the restroom.”

When asked which song she had sang, Suzy replied, “I sang a short portion of Younha‘s ‘Love‘.”

Meanwhile, other guests that appeared on this episode were 4minute‘s Sohyun, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, and Jo Gab Kyung.

A recent conversation between IU and miss A‘s Suzy has become a hot topic.

On March 26th, IU, who recently opened her Twitter account, tweeted to Suzy with an assertive attitude, “I’m rejecting your follow request, Bae Suzy.”

Shortly after, Suzy replied with a playful threat saying, “I’m unfollowing you,” to which IU immediately apologized, “I’m sorry.”

Upon seeing the cute conversation between the two singers, fans commented, “The two must be very close with each other. How cute“, “The two are so cute!“, and “I’m so happy that IU started Twitter.”

Although celebrity profiles have the tendency to exaggerate by listing a taller height than reality, it seems miss A‘s Suzy‘s case is the opposite. Suzy, one of the taller members of the group, revealed her actual height.

During a recent recording of MBC Everyone’s ‘Weekly Idol‘, Suzy claimed, “I’m actually taller than the 166cm height revealed on my online profile. My current height is actually 168cm (5 ft. 6″)“.

When she was asked about her ‘King Foot’ nickname, Suzy also surprised the guests as revealed her foot size to be 249.9mm (9.8 inches).

The girls will be starring as themselves, a popular idol group, that visits Girin Arts High School to support the super idol’s stage. Suzy especially has been busy with promotions for her new movie on top of miss A’s activities, so her act of loyalty to the drama’s staff and stars is one that fans will surely be looking forward to.

A photo of actor Kim Soo Hyun hugging the “nation’s younger sisters” IU and Suzy, was posted on February 27th on an online community board, along with the caption “Kim Soo Hyun, who has the whole world in his arms.”

The photo seems to be a screen capture from a moment during the Dream High concert. After the event had ended and the cameras were wrapping up, Kim Soo Hyun was snapped hugging both IU and Suzy at the same time. The sight of Kim Soo Hyun hugging two of the “nation’s younger sisters” simultaneously has provoked the jealousy of male fans everywhere.

miss A's Suzy, is garnering attention for being kissed by Taecyeon and Kim Soo Hyun at the same time.

A picture was recently uploaded on an online community board with the title: “Kim Soo Hyun and Ok Taecyeon Kissing Suzy.” The picture was taken from “Dream High’s” poster shoot during season 1.

The storyline had Go Hye Mi (Suzy) in a love triangle with Song Sam Dong (Kim Soo Hyun) and Jin Gook (Taecyeon). The poster portrayed the love triangle amongst the three main characters by having the two male leads kiss Suzy’s cheek at the same time.

Netizens and fans who saw the picture responded with diverse reactions: “Being kissed by Taecyeon and Kim Soo Hyun at the same time? I am very jealous,” “Suzy looks surprised yet happy,” and “I wish I can trade bodies with Suzy.”

Still cuts in ‘Dream High 2‘ were recently released featuring Kim Soo Hyun‘s cameo!

Kim Soo Hyun will appear in the pilot episode of ‘Dream High 2′ on January 30th as Song Sam Dong, the first of various special cameos during this series.

The actor rose to popularity as he revealed his acting potential and excellent dance skills in the first ‘Dream High’. He granted fans’ wishes as they voted him as the most wanted actor from Season 1 to reappear in ‘Dream High 2′.

As Kim Soo Hyun will reprise his role as the top actor Sam Dong, Rian (acted by T-ara‘s Jiyeon) will reenact the bus farewell scene that miss A‘s Suzy had previously done.

Even with his busy schedule with MBC‘s ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun‘ where he plays the leading role, Kim Soo Hyun decided to make a cameo and stated enthusiastically after the filming, “I enjoyed completing the filming in the atmosphere that was no less friendly than the last ‘Dream High’ filming site. I’m anticipating that the drama and its feeling will be different from the first.”
