Following Justin Bieber‘s breakup with Selena Gomez, many fans have been wondering who he’ll be dating next.

Billboard has come up with a poll asking who should be the Canadian-born singer’s next girlfriend, and 4minute‘s HyunA made the list.

According to Billboard:

“Although they may not speak the same language, Biebs and 20-year-old South Korea native HyunA both speak the language of love in their effortlessly catchy musical stylings. With K-pop on the rise in the U.S., perhaps an intercontinental celebrity couple is just what the genre needs to declare its stateside power. Looking for a tangible connection between the two? HyunA has collaborated with ‘Gangnam Style‘ star Psy, who just happens to share his manager with Bieber. Hmmm…”

HyunA showed up on the list of potential ‘girlfriend’ candidates alongside stars such as, Carly Rae Jepsen, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, and Rihanna. She’s currently received over 1,700 votes and leads the poll with 43%.

KARA‘s Hara, 4minute‘s HyunA, and SISTAR‘s Hyorin have been chosen to follow the footsteps set by Lee Hyori as beautiful soju models for Lotte Liquor.

Lee Hyori’s 5 year run with ‘Chum-Churum / Like the First Time’ soju recently came to an end, and the three female idols have been chosen to take her place. The three idols recently wrapped up their first shoot for the soju brand last week.

A representative in the entertainment industry said, “Lee Hyori’s trademark spot has been filled in by hoobaes. It seems as if this generational shift transitioned smoothly. It’s a very representative brand, so once the commercial airs, the results should be impressive.”

HyunA‘s “Ice Cream” music video has reached over 20 million views on YouTube in just 10 days.

According to Cube Entertainment, the 4minute member broke the record for most views in the fastest amount of time by a K-pop artist. The MV is currently sitting at #2 on the ‘YouTube 100′ music chart for the week of October 30.

What’s more impressive is the fact that HyunA is involved in the current top 3 music videos on the ‘YouTube 100′ chart: Psy‘s “Gangnam Style” at #1, “Ice Cream” at #2, and HyunA’s remix of Psy’s hit “Oppa is Just My Style” at #3.

In related news, the “Ice Cream” MV was described as a “must watch” by Billboard. It was mentioned in the Huffington Post‘s “Top 9 YouTube Videos of the Week” list as well.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, this edition of ‘Grab the Look‘ was inspired by one of K-Pop’s hottest on-stage couples, Trouble Maker!

Cube Entertainment‘s sexy duo — comprised of B2ST‘s Hyunseung and 4minute‘s HyunA — galvanized the K-Pop community with their sizzling choreography and music video. Trouble Maker’s modern spin on secret agent films from the 1960s can also be found in their fashion, which combines classic lines with contemporary patterns.

Hyunseung presented a classic silhouette with his tuxedo jacket, but made it trendy by choosing a bold animal print. To make this easier to wear, go with a less formal silhouette (such as a blazer) and select prints with colors that are more toned down (such as navy blue or black). Doing this also makes the jacket more of a wardrobe staple than a once-in-a-blue-moon piece.

The jacket can be dressed up with a light colored shirt and dark jeans, or dressed down with a graphic tee and sneakers. Finish the outfit with a cool belt buckle to add personality and a great pair of shoes that can go with anything.

Hyunseung’s partner, HyunA, wore a matching animal print in a sexy and seductive shape. Bold and vibrant, this dress can only be worn on special occasions, but it’ll be totally worth it since jaws will drop.

Find a great jacket to cover up the dress when travelling. You should look for a piece with strong construction and architectural lines, but is fitted to help bring out that feminine silhouette and show off the waistline. A cute heart wristlet will keep all your things close at hand while playing with the holiday theme.

Finally, add a fiery pop with red pumps to seal the deal. These are also a great wardrobe builder since they can be paired with other dresses and skirts, or dressed down with jeans.

Valentine’s Day is all about couples, so we’ve got some tips on how to wear ‘couple outfits’.

The ”Trouble Maker” video gives great insight on how to wear couple outfits — the ensembles all play with similar patterns, but are used in different ways to avoid a look that’s ‘matchy matchy’. The key to wearing couple outfits on today’s streets is to keep it subtle and let the details do the talking. Try wearing similar patterns or colors in different parts of the outfit, such as shoes or accessories.

And if you’re single this Valentine’s Day? Follow this style guideline and you definitely won’t be! (Although we hope your date will turn out better than HyunA and Hyunseung’s in the music video).

Singer HyunA was chosen as the idol that is most likely to still be active as a ‘dancing queen’ ten years from now in 2022.

A weekly movie magazine recently held a survey, asking readers which idol they felt would still be dancing ten years from now, much like veteran Uhm Jung Hwa in her new movie, ‘Dancing Queen‘. Singer HyunA who is currently active as a part of unit group do ‘Troublemaker‘ won with 56% of the votes.

The idea for the survey was taken from the movie in which Uhm Jung Hwa plays the role of a madam who is searching for a new life.

Behind HyunA was singer IU who came in at second place with 18% of the votes, and T-ara‘s Eunjung who came in at #3.

In related news, ‘Dancing Queen’ will open in theaters on the 19th.

It’s New Year’s Eve in Korea, and what better way to send off 2011 than with a livey music show with this year’s top artists!

MBC drew together a formidable list of performers this year, along with a beloved cast of MCs from their popular reality show, ‘We Got Married‘. Eunjung, Lee Jang Woo, Ga-In, Jo Kwon, Victoria, Nichkhun, Kang Sora, and Leeteuk all led the ceremonies this year with their respective ‘spouses’.

Artists were divided into two teams, Blue and White. Throughout the show, viewers cast their votes through text messages for their favorite team, and the winner was revealed at the end of the show. (Go to Part 4 to see the list of artists in each team)

The K-pop craze that’s taking the world by storm was also manifest on the largest video portal site in the world, Youtube.

On December 21st, Youtube reported the top 10 most-watched music videos by domestic citizens in Korea (not including overseas views) since January 1st, 2011.

According to the report, the #1 most-watched K-pop music video in Korea for 2011 was Wonder Girls‘ and their hit track, “Be My Baby“.

HyunA‘s solo single “Bubble Pop” came in at #2, while SNSD‘s “The Boys” came in at #3, holding a record for immediately receiving 400,000 views upon release.

At #4 was “STEP” from KARA‘s third full-length album which is earning much love and support in Japan, and at #5 and #6 were 2NE1‘s “Lonely” and “I Am the Best“, respectively.

T-ara‘s “Roly Poly” came in at #7, followed by f(x)‘s “Pinocchio” at #8, SISTAR‘s “So Cool” came in at #9, and miss A‘s “Good-bye Baby” rounded out the top 10.

Yeum Donghoon from Google Korea remarked, “K-pop has an ever-growing impact on the world, so much that Youtube has launched an official ‘K-pop’ category on the site. I think the driving force behind K-pop spreading so quickly and intensely all over the world is the never-ending love and support the national fans show their favorite artists.”

Troublemaker‘s HyunA and Hyunseung have unveiled their photoshoot with ‘High Cut‘ magazine!

Combining the luxurious colors of gold and red, the two played up the festive atmosphere of Christmas for their first couple photoshoot together. As if performing a routine straight out of their choreography, the two impressed staff members by easily pulling off some sexy poses without any hesitation.

HyunA showed off her lean legs in a golden spangle dress while Hyunseung channeled a beastlier look in an Yves Saint Laurent pants, a Sung Jin fur vest, and Dior Homme high tops.

HyunA’s golden jacket is from Balmain, and under it, she wears a black jersey jump suit from Elie Tahari. Hyunseung matched her in Prada pants and a metallic shirt.

In their warmer red and white look, HyunA’s wearing a 96 New York red muffler as a dress while Hyunseungs decked from head to toe in white pieces from Neil Barrett.

Their full photoshoot can be seen through the 67th edition of the magazine.

“Trouble Maker” duo HyunA and Hyunseung have worked up quite the storm after heating up the stage at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards, shocking everyone with a sensual kiss in the middle of an intimate dance sequence.

However, scandalized fans can seek solace in a recent statement by a CUBE official, who confirmed that the HyunA and Hyunseung didn’t actually lock lips during their performance. “The kiss was not lip to lip, but actually lip to cheek.”

“The kiss was a decision made by the directors before the performance,” the representative went on to clarify. “This stage was special because it was a place to wrap up the successes of this past year and also debut a new unit collaboration. It was after the agreement with the directors that this kiss stunt was developed.”

The group is scheduled to debut on December 1st.

On November 29th, 4minute‘s HyunA and B2ST‘s Hyunseung shocked their fans with a racy stage at the ‘2011 MAMA‘ in Singapore — a stage that included a long, steamy kiss.

HyunA and Hyunseung brought out a risque performance to introduce their new project duo, ‘Trouble Maker‘ first and exclusively at the 2011 MAMA. Dressed up in evening gowns and suits, the two danced provocatively against a moon-lit background.

Fans went wild over their very intimate choreography, which had Hyunseung touching HyunA’s legs, HyunA jumping onto Hyunseung and wrapping her legs around his waist, and finishing off with a passionate embrace.

Cube Entertainment has just revealed that they’ll be launching a co-ed ”performance unit” called Trouble Maker!

The agency unveiled the unit’s album jacket photo through their homepage, along with the announcement that Trouble Maker is comprised of B2ST‘s Hyunseung and 4minute‘s HyunA.

The photo features a “private party concept” with HyunA and Hyunseung dressed in all black. Expectations are rising high for a provocative, yet sophisticated show that will encompass both HyunA and Hyunseung’s charms.

Their first mini albun, ‘Trouble Maker’,consists of a dance track as well as an emotional ballad.

The unit will start revealing their teaser photos on November 25th through their teaser site, and will unleash their album on December 1st.

Super Junior, 2NE1, and HyunA have been making headlines all year with their YouTube view counts. On November 22nd, these three teams received awards at the ’2011 YouTube Kpop Awards’ at Google Korea in Seoul.

HyunA stated, “I was surprised at the large amount of YouTube viewcounts. I saw a lot of people upload videos with my song, and there were many who were better than me; I gained strength [from seeing all the videos].”

2NE1, who had three videos in the Top 10, commented, “We will continue to upload a lot of cool videos in the future. Please show them lots of love. We put a lot of effort into showing you a lot of things in ‘I Am The Best’ music video, so I think that is probably why a lot of people watched the video.”

Super Junior’s Leeteuk stated, “This award is especially more valuable because fans all over the world were the ones who made this award possible. We will continue to spread the Korea’s culture throughout the world… I also clicked on our music video 10 times. Whenever we’d go perform overseas, the clip would be uploaded onto YouTube right away. Seeing this, I felt how strong media’s power had become.”

Super Junior received 1st place with 26.9 million views for “Mr. Simple”, followed by 2NE1 with 22 million views for ‘I Am The Best’, while 3rd place went to Hyuna with 21.6 million views for “Bubble Pop”.

Via Twitter on the 16th, HyunA tweeted, “Two swollen faces. Looking around for coffee.”

In the photo, the two girls are strolling on the street while posing adorably for the camera. They made cute little facial expressions and impressed netizens with their beauty.

This year three K-Pop music videos have surpassed 20 million views on YouTube, while another nine surpassed 10 million.

The artists behind this record are Super Junior, HyunA, 2NE1, followed by SNSD, Big Bang and Kara. However it is possible more will be added to the list during the remaining two months of the year.
At the moment, Super Junior's "Mr.Simple" surpassed 25 million hits, while 2NE1 produced three MVs that had 10 million hits each. With the K-POP boom spreading worldwide, one of this year's standard for being a "hit song" was the number of YouTube hits. However, there have even been malicious conspiracy theories between anti-k-pop fans that the Korean government rigged the number of hits.

First of all, let's talk numbers. Super Junior's "Mr.Simple" (approx. 25,610,000), HyunA's "Bubble Pop" (20,710,000), and 2NE1's "I Am The Best" (20,690,000) were the most popular videos.

"Mr.Simple" tops other Korean tracks, with the backing of Super Junior's popularity all around the world. After easy-to-sing and fast songs such as "Sorry Sorry" and "Bonamana", Super Junior continued to attract the world audience with "Mr.Simple".

HyunA confirmed her status as next sexy icon with her solo song "Bubble Pop" and was the runner up just after Super Junior. Ironically, HyunA got more hits with her solo single than her group 4minute.

This year 2NE1 showed what they were capable of by releasing three hit songs, including "I Am The Best", which got over 20 million YouTube hits, "Lonely" (17,910,000 hits) and "Hate You" (10,490,000 hits).

If we were to include overseas releases, SNSD would have got the first place. The Japanese MV of "Mr.Taxi" had an incredible 34,480,000 hits. SNSD also seems close to surpassing 20 million hits with the Korean song "The Boys", which, by November 9, registered 16,890,000 hits.

Big Bang released two MVs that collected more the 10 million hits. "Tonight" had 15,710,000 hits and "Love Song" 13,050,000. Despite being released last year, GD&TOP also enjoyed more than 12 million hits.

Kara, who released a new single "Step" in Korea after a long time, surpassed 13,590,000 hits. Wonder Girls released their new track "Be My Baby" on November 7 and is presently at 4 million+ hits. With their popularity and fan base, it is likely they will join the this year's "10 million hit group."
