MOGEF slams Huh Gak, Kim Hyun Joong, and more for dangerous content in MVs

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (‘MOGEF‘) have just revealed their first batch of ‘dangerous material’ for 2012.

On January 16th, the MOGEF announced that they’ve censored the music videos for Huh Gaks “Hello” and Kim Hyun Joong’s “Lucky Guy” due to its inappropriate content for minors.

The MOGEF claims that Huh Gak’s “Hello” is too violent, while Kim Hyun Joong’s “Lucky Guy” encourages recklessness.

Joining Huh Gak and Kim Hyun Joong on the list are Simon D, Tablo, and Yoon Mi Rae. Simon D’s “Cheerz” has been censored because of the MV’s inclusion of “hazardous substances” and “immoral lodgings”, while Tablo’s “Bad” contains “portrayals of violence and appearance of hazardous substances”. Yoon Mi Rae’s “Get It In” has likewise been struck out for its scenes of violence.

The censorship will go into effect starting January 23rd.

SHINee’s Tae Min is cast in ‘Immortal Classics 2′

Brown Eyed Soul’s Sung Hoon and SHINee’s Tae Min were recently cast in Immortal Classics 2. The news made their fans eagerly anticipate the show.

The production crew for KBS’s Immortal Classics 2 said, “Brown Eyed Soul’s Sung Hoon and SHINee’s Tae Min will start appearing on the show in January of next year.”

On December 26, they also talked about the reason they cast the two stars in the show. “Brown Eyed Soul, composed of four famous vocalists, including Naul and Jeong Yeop, is a popular group drawing a lot of attention with just their albums, even though they haven’t been appearing on TV. Sung Hoon, the youngest member of the group, is like a diamond and we are also eagerly anticipating his appearance on the show.

They added, “Our show needs singers, who can grow up with our program. Tae Min can give wonderful performances and he is also a talented singer. People will understand why we cast him in our show after they see his performance.”

The production crew for the show will change three or four cast members among Huh Gak, Ali, 4Men, Shin Yong Jae, Davichi’s Lee He Ri, K. will, Brian, and SG Wannabe’s Lee Seok Hoon for the new line up in 2012.

According to the crew, Ali and Shin will continue to appear on the show. However, there is not much likelihood of K. will continue appearing on the show due to his concert schedules and making new album.
